About Me

Hello, my name is Vanessa Colman. Here at Talking Chair I offer a face to face service for children, young people, parents and adults who are experiencing mental health and emotional difficulties.

I can work with you to find solutions to promote change and improve your quality of life. My approach is open, non-judgemental and supportive

I am a paediatric and mental health nurse. My is practice is regulated by the NMC, GHR, BSCAH.

What do I enjoy?

Firstly, it's really important for me that I enjoy my professional work, which means regularly meeting new people and more importantly engaging with their personal challenges.

When I am not working, I love being outdoors and enjoy walking my dogs, cycling and yoga.

Appointments:

  • Initial consultation
  • Appointments are available week day, evening and Saturday morning
  • The first session is approx 1 hour and follow up sessions are an hour or slightly less.
  • The number of sessions required usually varies from person to person.
